Exchange 2000 with Outlook 2003

Hello,

Over the past few weeks we have had several connection issues using outlook
2003. On the lower right had corner a pop window will appear "outlook is
trying to retreive data from the exchange server", than another pop up window
will appear outlook lost it's connection and then it will restore connection
after a few seconds. Exchange 2000 is on a Windows 2000 server with SP4. I
could use some help on this one.
