when sending email to people with att.net accounts (and only with att.net
accounts, all others work) we get the following error:
There was a SMTP communication problem with the recipient's email server.
Please contact your system administrator.
<mail.ourdomain.com #5.5.0 smtp;550-xx.xxx.xxx.xx blocked by
ldap:ou=rblmx,dc=worldnet,dc=att,dc=net>
I look in our exchange smtp logs and all I see is:
+blocked+by+ldap:ou=rblmx,dc=worldnet,dc=att,dc=net 0 0 68 0 1391 SMTP
we do not appear in any spam lists, so I am confused as to why we are being
blocked.
reverse DNS is setup and working,. I went to dnsstuff.com and did tests
there and everything checked out.
what is really irritating is that I cant seem to find a contact email
address or number for att.net to talk to someone about why we are being
blocked.
