exchange problem

Hello. ive just noticed in the last week that when sending some emails
that its taking about 30 min to send out emails. I've looked in the
smtp queues and i see about 75 messages in there. Some saying ready and
some saying retry. If i send something to my gmail account i see it in
que as retry. 30 min later its in my inbox. Can I get any help to see
where to start looking for the problem. I'm running windows 2000 and
exchange 2000

Ok i belive i fixed my problem. it was mor than 75 message in the que
so i went ahead and froze all of the ones that had retry on them now
my email is working great. I take it that all these emails were being
kicked back by my epsion interceptor. Can anyone help me out and tell
me how i can stop that from happening.
