I have a simple small Windows 2003 domain. An active directory domain server
and a 2003 Exchange server. Installed pretty straightforward. No extra
configuration. We've been running about a month and now a couple of users are
starting to report SMTP communication problem with the recipients email
server #5.50 smtp;550 Invalid recipient and an occassional You do not have
permission to send to this recipient. We use a third party SPAM filtering
service that all the email goes thru. Our MX records are with them. Any help
would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

You need to investigate whether the problems lies within the exchange server
or with the spam filtering company. The NDR might tell you this.
