everything I see on the microsoft website refers to front end and back end
servers when you research rpc over http.

we have a single exchange 2000 server, and are installing exchange 2003 on a
new server and then moving the mailboxes over.

you CAN install rpc over http on exchange 2003 stand alone, correct?

Yes...note that the groups you've posted to are for E2000, though, and the
newer versions are handled by microsoft.public.exchange.* (you'll get more
help that way).

I did not know that about the exchange.* group!

Kept looking for an exchange 2003 group.

thanks for the link too. I really needed that.

Our 2000 exchange is having serious issues, so our time frame for setting up
the new server got moved up to today.
